Monthly Market Update 10/1/2017

September was a very busy month for real estate here on the coast.  Many homes seemed to barely come on the market before they were in escrow!  I know the Bay Area has this happen all the time, but we are different up here without the HUGE population base that drives other areas.  We are watching is dismay as the wildfires rage in our North County and just hope they will be under control soon. New escrows stayed high at 20 and there were 17 closed sales.  New listings were way down which is typical for this time of the year at 11.  Lots sales stayed higher at 11 and there were 4 new escrows and 9 new listings. Don’t put it off if you have been thinking about getting coastal property.
